Colombia Tech Week has come and gone!

Colombia truly showcased its potential during an incredible Tech Week.  We kicked off with Gabriela Ruggeri at Uniandinos panel, where she joined Sebastian Cardenas from Monashees, Guillermo Chapman from Amador, and moderator Constanza Nieto to discuss scaling up investments and how to involve more corporate players in supporting the startup ecosystem, the conversation also focused "the 'what,' 'why,' and 'when' of a fundraising strategy”. The Uniandinos community welcomed us warmly, and the conversation set the tone for a week of collaboration.

At GoFest, hosted by the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, Gabriela moderated the panel "From Competition to Collaboration: Companies Leading Market Sophistication," featuring Luz Ángela Castro, Rodrigo Lascurain, and Oscar Rodriguez, where they discussed how companies can shift from competitors to collaborators to drive market growth.

Gabriela and Eduardo also took part in the Reverse Pitch organized by Startup Grind, along with Impacta VC, 500, Newtopia, H20, and New Ventures, discussing strategies for startups and impactful investments.

Our "Multi-Corporates Meet Up - Game Changers of the Startups Arena" lunch at BACU on 90th Street was another highlight, where we hosted execs, founders, and investors together with our partner Cubo Itau. We discussed startup-corporate collaborations, insights, experiences, and new ideas. A huge thank you to BACU for their warm hospitality and fantastic food, and to Luis Carlos Mira for joining us in representation of Coca Cola Latin America

We wrapped up the week with a lunch hosted by Norte Ventures, where we discussed best practices with some of the leading corporate venture capitals in the region, focusing on how corporations can access top talent and leverage these connections to stay competitive.

Colombia Tech Week has truly set the stage for our event on September 11th at the Hilton Bogotá Corferias. We can’t wait to see how we can continue to build bridges between startups and corporations. Join us by registering here.
